Ease Of Use
Straight out of the box, the Husqvarna 7021P comes pre-assembled. One only has to extend the handles, tighten them and set the operation height to begin mowing. The Honda engine is extremely reliable and the first time you start it after adding the engine oil and topping the gas tank, it astonishingly kicks into life with the first pull. Just remember to always keep the choke on when cold starting. Thankfully, the choke disengages the moment your mower rumbles into life to avoid flooding of the engine. As for maneuvering it over tree roots and other obstacles, the large wheels at the back work great. Just don’t set the height too close to the ground if you have an uneven surface as this tends to leave clumps in the mulching mode
Cut Quality
Simply splendid is all that I can say. Be it a large outgrowth, harder older blades, wild growth, soggy patch or uneven terrain, the mower chops through everything in its way and it never misses a spot. The larger engine provides near 7 pound of torque per foot that is completely used by the blades to ensure a proper consistent cut each and every time.
Height Adjustment
You get a total of 9 height settings ranging between 1.25 to 3.5 inches. Changing the height on this Husqvarna mower is easy and accomplished with the help of a slider. Once set, you can alter it between runs by stalling the motor and changing the height.
Motor Power
Honda 160cc engines are rare on lawn mowers especially those with a 21 inch cutting deck so as far as the motor goes, you won’t find any better or stronger than this one.
